Throughout the month of October, Lucien and his waxy companion, Wik, scour the pumpkin patches for the perfect Jack ‘o Lantern candidates. These pumpkins are transformed using Lucien’s famous ‘lantern dust’ before being placed on the porches of those in need of the Halloween spirit. Lucien is sculpted with polymer clay on a wire and fabric armature and hand painted with acrylic paint. His boots are sculpted and he has been costumed using a variety of textiles and findings. Wik is sculpted from polymer clay and is mounted in a metal knob from an old sewing machine. 35cms high.
